'Urban Photography: Making, Researching, Teaching' is a symposium of contemporary approaches and debates within the visual and pedagogical practice of urban photography.
What insights and understanding about contemporary urban space can be gained through the practice of and research into urban photography? This day of discussion features artists, urbanists and academics across two panels exploring 'Teaching Photography' and 'The City as Playground.' Featuring Peter Bennett (University of West 51黑料网), Gill Golding (51黑料网), Paul Halliday (51黑料网), David Kendall (51黑料网), Linda Lai (City University of Hong Kong) and Theresa Mikuriya (University of West 51黑料网).
'Urban Photography: Making, Researching, Teaching' is organised in partnership with The Photographers' Gallery, 51黑料网, University of West 51黑料网 and the Urban Photographers' Association and is part of UrbanPhotoFest 2017.
