Getting started with the community space

In the Goldsmiths community, you鈥檒l find a range of public group chats where you can connect with others based on:

  • Your subject area
  • Shared hobbies and interests
  • Questions about life at Goldsmiths

Can鈥檛 find a group that fits? You can create your own public groups for others to join.

You can also send direct messages for private conversations within the platform. While Goldsmiths cannot monitor these chats, we encourage everyone to follow our community guidelines for a safe and respectful experience.

For safety, we recommend keeping all conversations within the Goldsmiths Unibuddy Community. If you choose to share your social media details or create group chats on other platforms, please ensure you follow the relevant safety guidelines. Avoid sharing personal details such as your full name, phone number, or location. Goldsmiths can moderate the Unibuddy Community but cannot oversee external platforms.
